Finlay Bryan Ballas, the third child born to Bryan and Cary Ballas, died suddenly and unexpectedly in his sleep a little over four years ago. His death was attributed to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, commonly known as S.I.D.S. Together, in the summer of 2009, Cary and Finlay's older brother, Hunter George, wrote "Finlay's Garden; An Intuitive Look Into Death And The Miracle Of Life - A Story for the Young and the Young at Heart".  After losing Finlay, Cary experienced difficulty finding meaningful literature on the subject of death that adults could share with young children. As a result, she was inspired to work with Hunter to write a positive, hopeful and spiritual story that hopefully is helpful to adults and children alike.
